Our approach to engineering.
Technologies
Multidisciplinary engineering
Mechanical, software, and logistics engineering in a single project.
A solution works if well-designed, not merely by using the right technology. We combine mechanical, software, and process logistics engineering: managing the entire material flow so every physical or digital part of the system works seamlessly with your production setup.
Patents and partnerships
Technologies designed for better work efficiency.
They simplify complex operations and enhance safety, speed, and operational continuity. Some stem from VINATI patents, while others are co-developed with component manufacturers or selected from specialized partners.
ACUBO – Anti-sway platform (VINATI patent)
The patented inertial platform protecting workers and equipment when loads are off-center.
- Patented inertial platform: monitors load tilt during lifting and mitigates sway.
- Closed-loop system: accelerometer and gyroscope measure real-time load motion, correcting bridge and trolley accelerations and braking.
- "Follow Me" function: aligns the hook over the load prior to lifting.
- Safety thresholds: alerts the operator and can halt hoisting if the load is non-vertical.
- Usage log and SWP: records actual plant duty and calculates Safe Working Period (SWP). Knowing true SWP can extend useful service life by over 40%.
- Remote management: network monitoring and configuration via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Universal installation: suitable for new systems or retrofits on existing equipment.
CIMS – Integrated plant management (VINATI patent)
The cloud portal holding data for every plant and component, accessible online without software installation. Used for over fifteen years to:
- maintain full service and maintenance logs
- schedule maintenance based on actual usage data
- prevent breakdowns and extend equipment operating life
A maintenance contract includes free CIMS access (see Service & Maintenance).
Kymati – Radar positioning and anti-collision (distributed by VINATI)
VINATI distributes Kymati technological solutions for positioning and collision avoidance in industrial crane systems.
Remotune – Radio control range measurement (VINATI patent)
- Field-developed: we use cranes daily and work closely with operators in client facilities. A practical method was needed to determine radio control range, as existing tools were outdated and impractical.
- Measured range: Remotune determines the operating radius of radio transmitters with reasonable accuracy.
- Works with your existing remote: applicable to any radio remote control.
- Combines with other tech: integrates with other plant systems.
Sensors and traceability
Every process step controlled, linked to your ERP.
Materials, missions, alarms, and movements, especially in automated plants.
LiDAR and radar
LiDAR systems monitor available clearance in real time and assist in correcting operator errors. We collaborate with specialized partners for radar-based anti-collision and positioning. We choose sensors based on your plant needs, applying them to: position loads precisely, avoid collisions, protect work zones, visualize 3D areas, and verify package dimensions in automated warehouses.
Data to your management system
Supervisory software is developed by VINATI and communicates with your MES and ERP systems: materials, missions, and alarms reach where you need them.
Secure communication
All our automated installations use secure communications: typically Profinet with Profisafe profile, or EtherNet/IP with CIP Safety if required by your plant.
In-house production
We manufacture the key components ourselves.
Wheel assemblies, trolleys, load-bearing structures, and lifting beams are manufactured in our workshop using our own welding lines. This allows direct quality control, ensures long-term reliability, and guarantees fast spare parts availability. For electronics and motors, we rely on global leading brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and ABB.
